Opening night is the 23rd of November. Ice skating sessions are on a first come first served basis for this day.

  • Whilst an incredibly fun past time, ice skating is not without risks. Our staff are fully trained in traffic control, first aid and correct ice maintenance, however, Chiltern View Ice Rink, Chiltern View Nursery, any management or staff cannot take responsibility nor will be liable for any accident or injury to any customer or third party whilst customers are using the ice rink or within the grounds. 
  • We must stress that all skaters behave appropriately and according to the rules. By purchasing tickets to attend the ice rink, you agree that you have read this disclaimer and you agree to abide by all the safety rules and regulations whilst you are in attendance and on the premises. 
  • All children (under 16) must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Under 10 must have an adult skater with them.
  • Children under 2 years old have free entry to the venue, if they wish to skate you will need to purchase a skating ticket.
  • We strongly recommend that for skating tickets a ratio of  1 adult. accompanies 2 children
  • We reserve the right to change ticket pricing through out the season we are open, refer to the booking and ticket pages on the website for current pricing
  • Please ensure all members of your party wear sensible clothing for a cold climate and outdoor activities.
  • We are unable to offer refunds for this event.
  • We cannot take responsibility for any theft or damage of your goods on-site.
  • No alcohol should be brought or consumed on site.
  • Chiltern Ice Rink management reserve the right to reserve entry or remove people from the site for non-compliant behaviour. 
  • We will offer a wide range of skate shoe sizes for adults and children, but cannot guarantee a fit for all visitors
  • Chiltern View Ice Rink staff will stop skaters who are not behaving responsibly or are skating too fast, weaving in and out of other skaters, skating through the centre of the ice or in a reverse direction, throwing ice, taking inappropriate objects onto the ice or attempting to re-enact their favourite skating on ice dance scenes.
  • If a staff member asks you to leave the ice, you must do so immediately and without complaint – this may not be due to any wrongdoing on your part, but due to an injury or accident elsewhere.
  • Please note that it is your responsibility to bring proof of purchase with you, either using a printout or showing your phone with an order email.
  • We cannot be held responsible for order emails not being delivered to your email accounts. Please always check junk and spam email folders.
  • Children who are under the age of 2, pregnant women, those under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and those with certain debilitating diseases are not suitable for ice skating. Should they enter the rink it is at your own risk.
  • We cannot be held responsible if your skating session is less than 40 mins long due to unforeseen circumstances or other customers behaviour.
  • Young children under the age of 10 must wear socks, gloves and a helmet to skate. Children who are not wearing this equipment may be refused entry onto the ice.
  • All customers are forbidden to bring digital appliances including cameras, and food / drink onto the ice. All personal belongings should be stored safely before getting onto the ice. The management, owner nor any staff are responsible or liable for any possessions that are lost or stolen whilst you are using the ice rink.
  • It is up to the parent or guardian to advise their children of the risks and rules before entering the ice rink and to ensure they are behaving appropriately and according to the rules of the Ice Rink.
  • Please arrive 3o mins before your skating sessions starts
  • Failure to abide by the rules set out for your own safety and the safety of other customers enjoying the rink will result in immediate eviction from the rink and the premises – your tickets shall not be refunded and you may be refused entry in the future.
  • In accordance with the above disclaimer, neither the owner, management nor any staff will be liable or responsible for any accidents or injuries caused by the skater or a third party. They will not be responsible of any collisions between skaters.
  • This magical virtual reality experience will transport you and your family to Lapland in our moving sleigh ride!
  •  When you arrive at Chiltern View Garden Centre, you will be transported to Santa’s sleigh lodge and prepare for departure on his sleigh! Once aboard, you’ll be seamlessly transported into the virtual bay using our HD VR headsets. Your intrepid journey will soon begin, along with the incredible range of motions our sleigh has to offer; a fully immersive 4D experience. Creating a truly festive feast for the senses!
  • Santa VR Experience – Children under 3 can attend free of charge and sit on an accompanying adult’s knee; they will not be wearing a headset but will be able to see what’s going on via a screen in the room, please bear in mind that this ride will be unsuitable for babies due to the VR headset needing to be worn for the duration of the ride. Everyone over the age of 3 will require a ticket.
  • Please be aware that the Ice Rink is incredibly slippery and the blades at the bottom of the skater’s boots are sharp and could therefore cause serious injury. 
  • VR Santa ride tickets – Please note that as tickets are not booked into time slots, it is your responsibility to use your tickets within our opening days and times, unused tickets will not be refunded.
  • VR Santa Ride – Please note a child must be accompanied by an adult on the ride, so please make sure you book yourself a ticket too!
  • Once booked tickets are non-refundable
  • Visit Santa – Baby tickets do not include breakfast, they do include a small gift
